Ruppert Landscape promotes branch manager
LAYTONSVILLE, Md. – Ruppert Landscape has promoted Charlotte McGehee to the position of branch manager for a new D.C. Landscape Management branch.
“The position Charlotte is filling has been the direct result of a new branch opening in the region,” said Doug Halsey, vice president and regional director of the Landscape Management Division. “With her strong leadership traits, her determined approach, and her passion for both customer and employee satisfaction, Charlotte will play a lead role in helping us maintain and further our presence in the D.C. market. We are looking forward to the contributions she will make within the branch and the relationships she will create with our existing and new customers.”
Charlotte has been with the Ruppert organization full time for five years and has served as a landscape construction division executive assistant, landscape construction purchaser, and project manager. As Branch Manager, Charlotte will be responsible for the overall development and health of the branch including the growth and development of her team, strategic planning, budgeting, training and day-to-day operations. She graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and is OSHA 30 certified. Charlotte and her husband, Mike, currently reside in Urbana, Md.
Until a permanent location is found in D.C., the team will operate out of Forestville, Md. The D.C. branch will join 17 existing branch offices that are located throughout the east coast, supporting both the landscape construction and landscape management divisions of the company.
“By opening a new branch in a metropolitan area like D.C., our teams will be able to reach their jobsites quicker, thus enabling us to be more responsive to our customers and provide better service,” said Phil Key, President. “We look forward to finding a permanent location in the coming months.”
