Anuvia Plant Nutrients hires four
ZELLWOOD, Fla. – Anuvia Plant Nutrients is expanding its team of professionals. Anuvia uses a new technology to manufacture enhanced efficiency slow-release plant nutrient products for turf and agricultural markets.
“We are growing our team with individuals with strong industry experience who will assist our efforts as we develop markets and our products,” said Anuvia CEO Amy Yoder. “Now as production began in April, we are positioned to adequately support the expanding opportunities we see for our technology. We are pleased to announce the following appointments – each of whom brings extensive experience to the Anuvia team.”
Dr. Dan Froehlich joins Anuvia as vice president of development. Froehlich will lead the development and field research for all Anuvia products and technologies. Froehlich comes to Anuvia from Ostara Nutrient Recovery Technologies, where he led research and product development. Previously, he worked for The Mosaic Company. Froehlich holds a Master's degree from Iowa State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota – both in agronomy and crop science.
Roger Gunning joins Anuvia as director of National Accounts for Agriculture Markets and will lead account management efforts as Anuvia introduces its products in these markets. Prior to joining Anuvia, Gunning worked for Agrium where he most recently served as account manager wholesale and marketing representative ag specialties. Gunning is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in agricultural systems management. He is a certified crop advisor.
John Fowler joins Anuvia as director of national accounts for specialty markets. He will lead account management efforts in this expanding market. Prior to joining Anuvia, Fowler was a sales manager with Residex. Prior to then, he spent 10 years with Agrium Advanced Technologies where he was the Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager. Fowler has also worked on the supplier side with Syngenta and legacy companies. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a B.S. in agricultural engineering.
In addition, Anuvia names Sanford Siegel to serve as laboratory manager – quality control, research and development. Siegel will analyze product quality and assist in new product development. He comes to Anuvia from The Mosaic Company where he worked as chemist and laboratory supervisor for quality control. Siegel holds a B.S. degree in chemistry from Florida International University and a MBA from Florida Southern University.
