Belgard partners with the USO
ATLANTA, Ga. – Belgard Hardscapes has partnered with the USO in support of its efforts to build fulfilling lives for troops transitioning back into civilian life. Through its new Welcome Home initiative, Belgard aims to provide more than $150,000 in both financial donations to the USO and in-kind services provided to U.S. military families. This initiative in 2015 is the first step in what the company hopes to be a long-term partnership between Belgard and the USO.
Through this new partnership, Belgard hopes to extend a warm “Welcome Home” message to servicemen and women across the country. The company plans to engage its contractors and dealers to join in its mission to give back to those serve.
“We know that no amount of thanks will ever be enough for those who have risked their lives in defense of our country, but we hope that through working with the USO, we will be able to show our sincere appreciation to those who have given so much,” said Jackie Paulsen, marketing director of Belgard Hardscapes. “There are many veterans in the Belgard family, including our expansive network of contractors and dealers, so partnering with an organization like the USO supports a cause close to our heart.”
With a variety of opportunities to give through action, both new and current contractors will be able to join Belgard and the USO in this initiative to welcome soldiers home. From now until Veterans Day on Nov. 11, the company will donate $100 for every paver project installed by a Belgard Authorized Contractor, as well as $250 in the name of every installer that becomes a new Belgard Authorized Contractor. Dealers can get involved by exhibiting the Welcome Home dealer display, an action that Belgard will recognize with a $500 donation in that dealer's name.
Belgard Authorized Contractors and Dealers will also have the opportunity to launch their own fundraising pages to drive efforts locally, while Belgard plans to further support the troops through an internal workplace giving program.
